Our project highlight in 2022 is The restoration of Australia’s last authentic Greek cafe in the New South Wales rural town of Gundagai. The iconic 1902 Niagara Cafe in the NSW town of Gundagai, with its magnificent art deco features including its bar and mirrors, has been a regular with film stars and politicians during its long history, and is the last of the country's traditional Greek cafes, making it the oldest Greek-run cafe and milk bar in Australia.

We completed the project in June 2022. With the renovations, many of the original art deco features have remained because the new owners said it was “vital to preserve them.
